Payment

  • Panier accepts, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.

Sales Tax

  • We automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders delivered to Colorado addresses. Each customer is solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other applicable taxes, on orders shipped to any other state.

Shipping and Handling

  • We only ship orders within the United States.

  • Baskets are shipped via UPS, Monday through Friday, not including holidays.

  • UPS shipping charges are based on the size and weight of the package.

  • Orders are usually shipped the next business day, Monday through Friday. Estimate time of arrival on our UPS Transit Time Map. NOTE: This map is based on UPS ground transportation schedules originating from Superior, Colorado.

  • We do not deliver internationally (outside the United States); we do not deliver to PO Boxes or APO.

Holiday Delivery

  • During peak demand deliveries may take one additional day. Peak demand occurs the week before major gift holidays: Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day. UPS delivery guarantees are suspended between 12 December and 1 January. Please plan accordingly and order early.

Correct Shipping Address

Timely delivery of your basket is important for the overall satisfaction of the gift recipient, especially when perishable items are included. Please make sure to enter the recipient’s shipping address correctly the first time! You must provide an accurate and complete shipping address that includes:

  • Complete recipient name

  • Company name if applicable

  • Complete street address

  • suite number/ apartment number where applicable

  • City, State, Zip Code.

Please provide correct addresses because Panier is not responsible for:

  • Baskets delivered to incorrect recipient addresses supplied by you.
  • Product quality issues arising from an incorrect delivery address supplied by you.
  • Unsuccessful deliveries resulting from the recipient not being present at time of delivery at the address supplied by you.
  • Product quality issues arising from improper handling by the gift recipient.

If you discover that you have supplied an incorrect address, Panier will help you re-route the basket to the correct address, subject to a $10.00 shipping charge. Panier, though, is not responsible for any product quality issues caused by the re-routing delay.

Additional Considerations for Deliveries to Businesses / Hospitals / Hotels

  • Business Deliveries: If your recipient is at a business, please be aware that the delivery may be made to a shipping and receiving department. Please let your recipient or someone at the business know that they are receiving a perishable package. Panier is not responsible if the recipient is not available to receive the product or if the business is closed.

  • Hospital Deliveries: Unless you are absolutely certain that the recipient will still be in the hospital when your gift arrives, consider having the gift shipped to recipient's home address. Should you elect to ship to a hospital address, please be advised that we assume no responsibility for gifts becoming lost or misplaced within hospitals, failure of the hospital staff to deliver the gift to the patient's room, or gifts arriving after patients have been dismissed.

  • Hotel Deliveries: Unless you are absolutely certain that the recipient will still be in the hotel when your gift arrives, consider having the gift shipped to recipient's home address. Should you elect to ship to a hotel address, please note that we assume no responsibility for gifts becoming lost or misplaced, failure of the hotel staff to deliver the gift to the guest/recipient, or a gift’s arrival after a guest has checked out.

Additional Considerations for Deliveries of Perishables.

Chocolate

  • During summer months (1 June – 21 September) or when shipping to a warm climate, please choose the UPS 3 Day Select or UPS Next Day Air delivery option if the UPS Ground transit time is longer than 3 days. If the shipping address is located in the 1, 2, or 3 day shipping range (in the UPS Transit Time Map) then UPS Ground may be used. Otherwise, we require UPS 3 Day Select or UPS Next Day Air to ship your order. Please note that Panier does not replace or provide a refund for baskets that are not shipped in accordance with this requirement and you are shipping at your own risk if you do not comply.

  • Generally, UPS Ground shipments containing chocolate are shipped on Monday through Wednesday.

Cheese

  • When shipping cheese, please choose the UPS 3 Day Select or UPS Next Day Air delivery option if the UPS Ground transit time is longer than 3 days. If the shipping address is located in the 1, 2, or 3 day shipping range (in the UPS Transit Time Map) then UPS Ground may be used. Otherwise, we require UPS 3 Day Select or UPS Next Day Air to ship your order. Please note that Panier does not replace or provide a refund for baskets that are not shipped in accordance with this requirement and you are shipping at your own risk if you do not comply.

  • Generally, UPS Ground shipments containing chocolate are shipped on Monday through Wednesday.

Canceling or Changing Order

  • Please call us immediately if you need to cancel or change an order. If your gift has not shipped, we will be happy to assist you in any way possible. However, if your gift is already in the custody of the shipping company, we cannot cancel your order.

Damaged Items and Returns

  • Panier cares about customer satisfaction and therefore endeavors to aggregate proven products with excellent reputations for quality. ALL SALES, HOWEVER, ARE FINAL.
  • If your gift basket is lost or damaged and the loss or damage is not attributable to you (for example, if you provide incorrect shipping information or the gift recipient refuses delivery), it will be replaced. In some cases, we will offer a credit or refund (less shipping fees). All replacement/refund requests must be made within 7 days of the delivery date. Items that are returned to us, either for lack of correct shipping address or recipient refusal can be re-sent subject to payment of any additional shipping fees. Packages that are forwarded via UPS due to incorrect shipping addresses will incur a $10.00 address correction fee per address.
  • Perishable products cannot be returned. These products will be replaced if they arrive damaged. Non-perishable items should be returned in their original packaging, after contacting our customer service department for our product return mailing address. If you would like to request a replacement or credit for a damaged item, you must contact us within 7 days of the delivery date.

Substitution Policy

  • In limited circumstances we may have to make a substitution to ensure timely delivery of your gift basket. Should this need arise, we will only substitute an item of equal or greater value and match your original request with an item that is as similar as possible from our available inventories.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.
